ABC Garden
A colorful four-foot-high, 45-foot-long wooden fence was designed and painted by the Worth County High School visual arts class under the direction of Denise Ray, with a variety of native plants and animals along with all upper and lower case alphabet letters. It is positioned around the air conditioner pad, thus concealing a major eyesore in the garden area. Native perennials beginning with each letter of the alphabet (most depicted on the fence) are planted around the fence. Each plant is labeled with its common and scientific name. Stepping-stones imprinted with letters of the alphabet are placed beside each plant.
