Zero the Hero is our special math friend who visits every 10th day of school to help us count by tens all the way to 100! Mrs. Powell's first grade class celebrated our 10th day in style — making a fun Zero the Hero craft and enjoying a yummy zero-shaped snack. We are doing a final push for ALL parents to sign up for their Infinite Campus Parent Portal this week. The classes with the most students signed up by this Friday, August 22nd, will win a pizza party! Instructions and information are coming home today in student communication folders. You can access Parent Portal by visiting www.worthschools.net, clicking the Infinite Campus Parent Portal icon, and following the instructions to create a new user account or logging in as a current user to complete the student information update. ***Please note that new user accounts must be created using the website and not through the app.***

Mrs. Griffis' kindergarten class had so much fun studying letters with the book, "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom," this week. They went on letter scavenger hunts, played letter Kahoot and letter Knockout, used alphabet cookies to match letters, and built their very own coconut tree. To end the week they made a coconut tree with their names. It was a great first week of Kindergarten! Click the link below to see more of the fun!
