Yesterday, WCPS celebrated our amazing bus drivers with a doughnut and drink to start their morning right! They are the first friendly faces our students see each day and the last ones to send them home safely home. Thank you for all you do to keep our kids safe and smiling!

Don't forget to take a moment to say "Thank You" to our school bus drivers and transportation team. We appreciate their dedication to student safety as they carry our little lambs to and from school everyday.

The week of October 27th-31st we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week with the theme, "Life is a puzzle, solve it drug-free!" Our students will learn that each healthy choice is a piece of the bigger puzzle of their lives. See the flyer below for our themed dress-up days.

Mrs. Griffis' kindergarten class read the book, "Big Pumpkin" by Erica Silverman. This is a story about a witch planting a pumpkin seed to make pumpkin pie. Don't forget, Fall Break starts Thursday, October 9th. We will see all of our little lambs back on Tuesday, October 14th. Have a restful break!

Congratulations to kindergarten student, Maebry Hathcock, for being the top seller in our WCPS PTO Charleston Wrap fundraiser!
